One BRITA CO₂ cylinder is sufficient for up to 60 liters of carbonated water. This depends on how you prefer your carbonation level and the temperature of the water. The higher your carbonation preference, the less water you can carbonate with one cylinder. For example, if you love very fizzy water, you can carbonate about 30 to 45 liters of water with one cylinder. If you prefer a medium to light carbonation level, you can carbonate up to 60 liters with one cylinder. The water temperature also significantly influences the amount of water to be carbonated. The colder the water, the easier it can absorb CO₂, allowing you to carbonate more with one cylinder.

No, the water carbonator cannot filter. At BRITA, we have many great filters you can use beforehand, such as BRITA Table Water Filters or BRITA Faucets with Filters. Simply turn on the tap for BRITA filtered water and fill your bottles for carbonation. Adjust your carbonation level individually with the push of a button, just the way you like your water. Lift the CO₂ cylinder and reach under the base of the water carbonator. Unscrew the existing CO₂ cylinder counterclockwise. Screw in the new CO₂ cylinder clockwise.

It is only recommended to use soda TRIO and sodaTRIO pro bottles. These fit perfectly into the device and we can only provide a warranty for their use.
