Information on the statutory warranty period
If your product develops a defect or malfunction within the statutory warranty period (24 months starting from the date of receipt), you can contact BRITA Customer Service (§ 13 of the Terms and Conditions) or request a so-called spare parts service from BRITA. There, you can enter a message, your first and last name, email address, street and house number, and ZIP code in a free-text field to submit a request to our customer service. Then the following happens:
BRITA products:
If the fault or malfunction can be identified, BRITA will send you the appropriate replacement part for your product as soon as possible for you to install yourself. If the entire BRITA product needs to be replaced, BRITA will send you a replacement product as soon as possible. The shipping and receipt of the replacement part or product are free of charge for you.
The Terms and Conditions, along with the additional terms for redeeming promotional vouchers printed under Section D, apply accordingly.
Important Notes:
You are not entitled to the delivery of replacement parts under this replacement parts service. The service is provided solely as a voluntary gesture of goodwill and is available only while supplies last.
We reserve the right to decide on a case-by-case basis whether we can provide you with the spare part free of charge or for a fee.
This spare parts service does not, of course, affect your rights under the statutory warranty. In the event of a warranty claim, the statutory (warranty) provisions apply, in particular Sections 434 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB) and Section 7 of our General Terms and Conditions.
Our goal is to offer a pragmatic solution in the spirit of responsible and resource-conserving product use, without, however, promising a binding commitment to spare part stock or availability. Thus, the spare parts service is an additional offering and a voluntary service provided by BRITA, and is provided without any legal obligation or acknowledgment of a legal duty.
